Tree nursery Bogaert is a family business with a long history of growing plants, trees and shrubs.

History

Bogaert Nursery was founded in 1967 by José Bogaert on a site of approximately 15 hectares. In 1994, his son Koen Bogaert and his wife Veerle De Clercq took over the business. Under their leadership, the nursery expanded significantly, reaching a total area of around 50 hectares.

In 2001, the company was divided into two separate entities: Handelskwekerij Bogaert bv, specializing in export and import activities, and Boomkwekerij Bogaert Koen, focused on nursery production.

In 2016, the next generation joined the family business when Laurens Bogaert became part of the company. In the same year, the acquisition of De Moor Nursery further increased the total nursery area to approximately 70 hectares.

A new milestone will be reached in 2026 with the relocation to a modern site at Provinciebaan 49, 9620 Velzeke (Zottegem). The larger premises, improved accessibility, and modern facilities—including a dedicated loading and unloading dock—will enable us to further enhance and expand our services.

In addition to supplying a wide range of plants, trees, and shrubs for your garden. Thanks to our extensive experience, we guide both private and professional clients through every stage of their project.
